Working with government, corporates, local services, other community organisations and youth support workers, Kids Off The Kerb projects are individually tailored and flexible to fit the needs of each young person. Kids Off The Kerb is especially active in using the platforms of the environment and recycling to create and sustain opportunities for young people.

Kids Off The Kerb operates out of Thomastown, Victoria, where, through the generosity of a benefactor, we currently have the use of a significant amount of factory, office and training space from which we conduct various social enterprise projects focussed on recycling, training, and work experience.
Previously, Kids Off The Kerb also ran a well-established multi-service youth centre in Footscray for many years, supporting youth outreach services and a cafe and community space in Ivanhoe, supporting various social enterprises.
By supporting young people and seeking to link them to productive activities, mentors and programs, including education, training and employment, Kids Off The Kerb aims to create exciting and worthwhile enterprises so that young people can achieve a sense of worth, purpose and belonging.
Kids Off The Kerb is a public company limited by guarantee and has been endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient.
Kids Off The Kerb was founded by Nathan Stirling AM, who has over 30 years experience in the not-for-profit sector and serves as the charity’s Chairperson. Other board members are Estela Aiello, George Andreola, Danny Bearzatto, Anthony Cook, and Troy Rosenlis.
